Danielle is incredibly excited to be the Clinical Director at Moonridge Academy. Stepping into this role feels like a true homecoming. Danielle's career as a primary clinician actually began right here at Moonridge, and it was during that formative time that she discovered a deep passion for working with teenage girls and their families.

Danielle's journey in residential treatment began twenty years ago, back in 2006, working as frontline staff in various residential settings. That early experience gave her a foundational understanding of the day-to-day realities, challenges, and breakthroughs our students face. Fueled by that work, Danielle went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University and later, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University.

Danielle spent the last seven and a half years as a Primary Therapist at RedCliff Ascent and ThreePeaks Ascent. Navigating the wilderness with students sharpened her clinical approach and deepened her respect for the resilience of young people.

Danielle has also operated a private practice dedicated to the adolescent population. Recognizing a critical gap in care in our small, rural community, Danielle and a colleague co-founded the region's very first LGBTQ+ friendly space to provide vital safety and support for local youth.

Danielle's passion is helping young people and their families build awareness, bridge gaps, and come back together. She is known for a straightforward, no-nonsense approach—she believes that honest, clear guidance is what helps families cut through the noise and truly facilitates change.
